Develop procurement strategies for acquisition and management of products and services that optimise quality, cost, and timely delivery
Proven ability to manage the sourcing, procurement and management of suppliers and vendors
Increase operational efficiency and increase profitability
Work in collaboration with Seagrass management to coordinate supplier selection, credit agreements, terms, rebates and product performance
Demonstrates organisational abilities by effectively handling multiple tasks, meeting deadlines and setting priorities
Create clear comparison spreadsheets of prospective suppliers to support executive and management decisions
Implement a procurement platform that will support the procurement division
Prepare, maintain and review purchasing files and records, price lists and the status of all orders
Establish stock criteria, replenishment levels, inventory management and manage store allocation of product
Manage key supplier relationships to deliver high performance in cost, services and quality including the negotiations of contracts and services
- Ensure all goods and services comply with Occupational Health & Safety legislation
A degree qualification in Business or in a related field with a minimum five years’ experience in procurement of services, supplies and equipment
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Excellent communication skills – written and oral
Advanced level of Microsoft packages – particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
Demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm and can work autonomously, as well as in a team environment
Proven track record in developing professional client, contractor and staff relationships
Logical and analytical thought processes and good problem-solving skills

Reporting to the COO a Senior Procurement Specialist is required to provide cost effective acquisition of products and services to meet the needs of the Group and their brands nationally.
As the Senior Procurement Specialist you will provide procurement expertise and assist to plan, develop, source and manage procurement related activities to effectively.
The role is also responsible in managing the procurement and buying function, accross multiple sites, venues and brands and we are seeking someone from a similar background who wants to work in an autonomous role.
